The Department of Defense has identified 3,125 American service members who have died since the start of the Iraq war. It confirmed the deaths of the following Americans over the weekend:

CUMMINGS, Branden C., 20, Pfc., Army; Titusville, Fla.; First Cavalry Division.

MADORE, Ronnie G., 34, Specialist, Army; San Diego; First Cavalry Division.

RODE, John D., 24, Sgt., Army; Pineville, N.C.; First Cavalry Division.

SEIGART, Carl L., 32, Sgt., Army; San Luis Obispo, Calif.; First Cavalry Division.
